Responsibilities

• 1. Provide evidence-based Ob/Gyn care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, teaching of medical students and residents, and other duties as assigned.
• 2. Work collaboratively with the existing academic, administrative, and clinical staff
• 3. Provide 24 hours of call coverage per month at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (“RWJUH”).
• 4. Preparing and attending to all reports, claims, and correspondence necessary relating to Services.
• 5. Providing education and training for third party contractors’ nurses and sonographers in assisting with Services.
• 6. Provide assistance in establishing and developing protocols with respect to obstetric services to include third party contractors.
• 7. Timely contracting with public and private payors, and timely credentialing with payors.
• 8. Devoting such time, attention, and energy necessary for physician to furnish services in a manner consistent with accepted community standards of care and competence.
• 9. Doing all things reasonable to maintain and improve the physician’s competency and professional skills including maintenance of board certification and state licensure.
• 10. These expectations are not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned by the Chair or Dean.

Qualifications

• Completion of Board accredited training program/s in General Obstetrics & Gynecology. Board certified or board eligible in General Ob/Gyn.
