Porter Medical Center is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) located in scenic Middlebury, Vermont and is a partner in the UVM Health Network. Porter is also proud to have a Helen Porter Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, a 105-bed facility with a memory care unit, long term care unit and an acute rehabilitation unit. Porter also has a network of outpatient medical practices that range from primary care to specialized health care services. As the second-largest employer in Addison County, we take great pride in our Mission, “To improve the health of our community, one person at a time”.
Responsibilities
- • Provide full scope obstetric and gynecologic care to patients of all ages.
- • Closely collaborate with certified nurse midwives and nurse practitioner
- • OB/GYN call pool is 1:4. Call is primarily back up to certified nurse midwives who takes first call.
- • Outreach outpatient GYN clinic in Ticonderoga, NY approximately once per month.
Qualifications
- • Medical Degree
- • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology or board eligible.

- • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to forge strong and respectful relationships across the health network.
- • Great emphasis on teamwork and collegiality with a all members of the care team.
